Childcare

We have childcare options available for both before and after school at Early Birds (breakfast club) and Treehouse (after school club).

 

Breakfast Club (Early Birds) is open to all children aged 2-11 that attend Malin Bridge Nursery & Primary School, there is a flat fee of £5.75 per session that includes a drink and food from the school kitchen. Sessions can be flexible and there is no minimum number of sessions to be booked. It is available for children aged 2-11, however places for 2 and 3 year olds will only be offered to children who attend Malin Bridge Nursery and are considered by staff to be developmentally able to access Early Birds (for example, they are toilet trained and confident to be left at Nursery).

 

After School Club (Treehouse) runs every day from 3.15pm until 5.45pm except during school holidays and on INSET days. It is available for children aged 2-11, however places for 2 and 3 year olds will only be offered to children who attend Malin Bridge Nursery and are considered by staff to be developmentally able to access Treehouse (for example, they are toilet trained and confident to be left at Nursery). After School Club is split into two sessions; the first is from 3.15pm-4.30pm, and the second is from 4.30pm-5.45pm.

Payment & Booking Information

Payment is made at the time of booking on the Parentmail (now called ‘Iris’) app. Please go to Accounts and select the child and club that you require. Sessions can be booked up until 24 hours before they are needed and can be made individually or for the entire half term. Childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare can be used as payment against Breakfast Club and After School Club with funds being transferred to your childcare balances once receipt of the payment has been confirmed by our  bank. Please ensure that you allow time for these balances to be transferred so that the funds are available before you need to book. Occasional urgent bookings for After School Club can be made on the day by calling the office. Payment for these sessions should be made within 24 hours of the charge appearing on your account.
