Chorus Education Trust

Malin Bridge Primary School became part of Chorus Education Trust on 1st January 2022.

 

Chorus believes that every child in our trust deserves the best education possible. We also believe that there is outstanding expertise across our region that can be harnessed to make this happen. Collaboration is a key part of our ethos.  We are currently 3 secondary schools and one primary school: Silverdale School, Westfield School, Hope Valley College, and Malin Bridge Primary School.

Chorus also leads the South Yorkshire Teaching Hub (SYTH), which provides professional training for teachers and leaders across the 316 Sheffield and Rotherham schools, and the National Modern Languages SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) which works nationally to train new language teachers.  Malin Bridge Primary School already leads the highly successful Primary offer of the Sheffield Teacher Training Alliance (STTA) and works collaboratively with Silverdale School to train 120 new teachers every year in the local area.

The Chorus ethos is ‘Outstanding Achievement for All’. We believe that it is our responsibility to create a culture of success to support every child to succeed. This is achieved through excellent teaching, an ambitious curriculum and always making sure that the children remain the main thing in our decision making.
