Our topic this term is 'Sheffield in Bloom'. We will be learning about the types of mini-beasts and bugs in our environment. We will start to understand what an insect needs to survive. As part of this learning we will successfully make our own wormery. As part of our learning in design technology, we will plan, design an bake our own mini-beast biscuit and evaluate our achievements when we have completed the tasks! We will gain more information about growing and what a plants needs to survive and will grow our own cress in order to eat it! We will learn more about where food comes from. As part of our geography learning we will learn more specifically about our local environment in Sheffield and compare this to a non-European country.
